Our Association plays a significant role in the process of liquidation of economic ventures at the conclusion of specific projects. In this process, we safeguard the interests of our clients, whether they be owners or creditors ensuring that they receive their due entitlements in full. For settlements of disputes which may arise during such proceedings, we act judiciously to keep the costs to a minimum.
Owing to the Association’s expertise in commercial and banking transactions, our clients often look to us when their borrowers or customers develop financial troubles. Consequently, our bankruptcy practice has historically involved us in representing creditors, particularly major secured creditors and finance companies.
Our bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice includes representation of debtors, trustees, indenture trustees, governmental agencies, local taxing authorities, institutional and trade creditors, secured creditors, buyers and sellers of distressed businesses.
